Event Status = ON – I had an amazing morning, woke up early and caught a few waves at Snapper, and when I say “few” I mean literally 3. EVERYONE was out which made it extremely difficult to catch waves. I did a few run arounds before I gave up and just parted with the fact that Green Mount is where I was meant to surf. For another rainy filled day, we are making the most of it. We hit up Burleigh Heads for a quick surf session in the a.m. followed by a mean bowling session in the p.m. I’m not claiming any bowling skills here, but I did come awfully close to taking out Mr. J.Smith himself.

Im on the Gold Coast of Australia during the Quiky Pro where I’m staying in an awesome apartment that over looks Snapper Rocks. Here’s an intro of what my blog is about, straight into the start of what will hopefully be a trip to remember. Which I can already vouch for considering my first surf session was threatened with a tsunami warning and everyone was pulled out of the water.
